No, you cannot use a Windows 7 product key from your old laptop on your new computer. Each Windows version requires its own activation key tied to the specific device it was originally activated on.

Feel free to attempt it, but if it fails, you'll need to purchase a new version or resort to the "Illegal" option and break the windows.

For identical Windows versions (such as Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit), it should function properly. However, using both systems simultaneously might cause issues.

OEM code - direct response: no retail key.
Take out the laptop windows and cancel the registration, then reinstall carefully ensuring you use the same version, such as 64-bit, home premium.

Check for original manufacturer parts or documentation. Look for labels, serial numbers, and official branding on the device.

A product key finder indicates this may be an OEM copy. If the key matches the format provided, you can safely uninstall and unregister it. This is likely if you purchased your laptop with Windows pre-installed. Let me know if you need further assistance!
