You're planning to set up a new PC for gaming, streaming, and video editing. It's good to consider the operating system options. Windows 7 Pro and Ultimate offer stability and support, while Windows 8 provides a modern interface but may lack some features you need. Ultimately, choose based on your priorities—performance, software compatibility, and personal preference.

I'm okay with purchasing 8.1. I wasn't aware we received a complimentary upgrade to 10. That's really nice!

8.1 offers quicker performance and includes a complimentary copy of W10, while consuming half the resources of W7 for smaller builds.

It's just a rumor, after all—certainty comes only with an actual release. Still, it's pleasant to find a discounted price, and honestly, even if I usually stick with model 7, I'd opt for 8.1 if I had to upgrade a new PC and adjust the settings.
