Nothing should fail, just like breaking the hardware, unless the OS requires special BIOS settings that prevent other operating systems from functioning.
To set up five operating systems on your laptop, make sure the storage device you're using has a GUID Partition Table (GPT) instead of a Master Boot Record (MBR). MBR is limited to four main partitions, while GPT offers more flexibility. Keep in mind that altering the partition layout will delete everything on that drive, wiping all data and partitions completely.
