Question 1.2 to 2.0 firearm components
Question 1.2 to 2.0 firearm components
Hi
I’m trying to figure out a problem with my OptiPlex 7020 Small Form Factor. It currently has tmp 1.2 installed on Windows 11, but I’m not sure why. There’s a BIOS update available, but it doesn’t work. I’ve already tried going into shell.exe and disabling boot control, followed all the other steps. I think it might be related to the chipset, but if there’s an update, maybe I need to try again. I also attempted a flash update, but it didn’t change the version. Maybe I’m missing something, but I really don’t want to ask for help right now. Honestly, I just changed things and am stuck without a clear solution.
Also, apparently no Dell support is available since my cover ran out—even though I actually got the product from Amazon. It’s possible it can be updated, there should be instructions, but I’m not sure what to do next.
Which 7020 model are you looking for? Dell offers two variants: one featuring a 4th generation Intel CPU and another with 14th generation CPUs.
I mean, basically I think if I have to, I could just lower my level to win 10, it's not too bad.
Win 11 was installed on this device through the standard setup process.
This refers to a situation from around ten years prior, well before Windows 11 existed and even before Windows 10. It wasn't the kind of release coming from Dell.
it was a third-party refurbished unit, budget-friendly when I acquired it last year.
it's a late fourth generation model, which makes it a bit outdated, but I'm confused about the updates if it isn't supported.
should I just downgrade?
yea, Dell wouldn't put Windows 11 on this either—it's not supported at all, honestly.
oh let me explain, i need to do tmp 2.0 on win 11 to play
League of Legends
but on win 10 you dont so there is a reason to downgrade.
if i carnt get this sorted, i carnt play the game i miss.
the tmp is a bias security enabled chip that loads a win module if im correct?
i mean its lnik to sucure boot so im guessing
It would have been helpful to have that information earlier.
Therefore, I recommend downgrading to Windows 10.
