I am not a PC expert, but I think my 1080 Ti is broken. I hope you know that too. I tried changing the settings to make it faster, but nothing worked. It just stops after playing one or two games in less than two minutes. Here are my parts: Intel Core i9-9900K with a CPU clock of 5 GHz instead of the stock 3.6 GHz (I tested this). I also have a 750-watt power supply. I am not sure if there is an easy fix for this problem.

I never built my PC before.

Oh crap, man! Those two pictures are killing it with a 1080Ti and a R.I.P/salute vibe going on.

No, don't tell me that. Could it just be a broken wire or too little electricity? Maybe I need to add more power!

There are those squares or rectangles with the same picture as skulls and crosses or alien-looking things on cards going to the grave. It says Spoiler Spoiler Spoiler Bad wire? From? Tried plugging into another port on the gpu? Tried a totally different cable? Tried running it on the cpu's integrated graphics, which is plugged right into the motherboard? More power? Why? Most of these 1080 cards need about 300 to 350 watts. Surely this power supply has no trouble giving out that much..? One small chance: maybe the power supply itself isn't working, but we can't tell without trying a new one.

If the cables aren't working, you'll have to deal with the power supply and graphics card too. You can't avoid checking those out just by trying new ones instead of swapping them all out first.

Could the memory stick be the problem? Check out this video link for more details on that possible cause.

It's not like that at all... I'm pretty sure it's one of those two things, whether the PSU or the GPU is broken, so you'd need to try swapping them out if you still don't get an answer from the first test.

There are certain patterns that might tell you something about your video memory. No matter if the problem is with your dedicated graphics card or one of its parts, it seems like everything is broken. It's just as likely to be only the power supply unit than anything else, though that chance stays low at 10% or less.

Reinstalling your GPU drivers with a special tool called DDU can help fix issues.
