Hi, I recently purchased a Meta Quest 3 and haven’t been able to hear any audio through Steam VR. The microphone and speakers are working, but nothing comes out. Anyone have ideas or solutions?

For the Quest 2, I had to eliminate all unused audio sources in Windows settings so it would default to the Quest. It seems there might be a bug making Windows overlook the Quest when another audio source is present. Hope this clears things up.

Ensure the game or app provides its own audio options. If not, choose the quest's output as the default on Windows.

I've tried both suggestions previously, but nothing resolved the issue. I captured a screenshot of the Steam VR interface while connecting my headset. I also attempted another method, which seemed to help. In the first sound panel image, both the streaming mic and speaker were visible during playback, which confused me. The second image showed I missed enabling the Steam applications in the recording tab. Now the headset functions correctly.
