Hey everyone, I hope everything is fine. I just started using Modern Warfare II and adjusted some settings to improve performance. From what I see, Nvidia DLSS Ultra Performance seems to boost frame rates. But I’m confused about CPU/GPU limitations. Could you check the screenshots and explain why? Also, what other adjustments should I make for better results? My specs are: Nvidia 3070, 8GB RAM, i5-12400, 16GB DDR4 at 3600MHz, and a 512GB SSD.

Performance with DLSS Quality and balanced appearance is ideal. DLSS reduces the resolution the GPU renders, shifting processing load to the CPU and increasing its demand.

The bottleneck indicates that having a stronger GPU would increase the number of frames. If the CPU were the limiting factor, a faster CPU would improve performance. It doesn’t matter which one is slower—just adjust to the settings that give you the best visuals and FPS.

They look fine but in those cases my GPU is doing all the work and CPU is doing none? So what settings should I stick with? I will be mostly playing Multiplayer matches. Campaign may be if I get time....

You're right to check. The fourth screenshot appears to offer the highest frame rate, with processing split evenly between CPU and GPU.
