What's going on? Certain gamers can display the game in a 21:9 format while still achieving 4K resolution. How did they manage that?

It employs the same upscaling method used on the Xbox for converting a 720p image to 1080p. I’m not sure about handling resolutions above 1080p, but I can assure you it doesn’t natively render at 1440p or 21:9 formats. If it’s still working from 720p to higher resolutions, that’s concerning. Sorry for the focus, but 21:9 is a very wide aspect ratio (like 2560x1080 or 3440x1440). Typically, 4K refers to 3840x2160 (16:9).
