Quantum Break Dx12
Quantum Break Dx12
I didn't claim they were incorrect. I'm highlighting how rare it seems for something like this to occur. They might still be valid, but I'm concerned about the impact on Nvidia users if this happens.
They shouldn't be doing this, it's just chaotic no matter what. And it hurts AMD users too—framepacing is really bad.
It looks like these recent DX12 titles have several issues—poor framerate, awkward frame timing, lack of multi-GPU support, and apparently Quantum Break only runs at 50Hz. That’s why I’m avoiding them, particularly any released on the Universal Windows Platform. Apparently, Quantum Break was called Quantum Broke. So far, the only game I’m excited about is Doom, which uses iD Tech 6 and is open source.
This project isn't built with the old standards in mind; it's really well-optimized. I'm looking forward to seeing Vulkan support added for the iDTech6 engine.
Uncertain about Vulcan support, I thought I was set with my 2X R9 290X main rig, 2X Gtx Titan 6Gb 2ND rig, 2X HD 7950 and 2X GTX670. Balanced the load evenly between And and Nvidia. Just wish Nvidia doesn’t reduce Kepler’s performance so Maxwell appears better.
