You can really notice it the first time you join a call. There are odd gaps in the recording and the quality changes sometimes. I’m confused about what the output panel displays. This issue also occurs with other audio devices. It doesn’t matter if Discord uses my mic or OBS. I’m running Windows 11, drivers are up to date. Report time: 6/17/2022, 23:54:47. OS: Windows 11 Home 64-bit (10.0, Build 22000). Language: English. Manufacturer: Gigabyte Technology Co., Ltd. Model: B560 DS3H AC-Y1. BIOS: F3 (UEFI). Processor: Intel® Core™ i5-10400F @ 2.90GHz (12 cores), ~2.9GHz RAM: 16384MB. Available OS Memory: 16254MB.

Interesting... Have you experimented with a different headset on this device? I’m just wondering if your headset might be malfunctioning.

When connected via Bluetooth, everything functions as expected. Each time you activate the microphone, it automatically shifts to a low-quality stereo setting.

You can avoid it, it wasn’t active before. (*note: possibly a dongle was involved*)

I’m not sure there’s much else to say other than that. I just click the link you shared. I’ve switched to Bluetooth headphones now.

Kilrah mentioned these are wireless options, likely what he intended. Please test with a wired headset and let us know if there were any changes.

You can connect with a wired headset instead, but you’d prefer using your Bluetooth devices.

Yes, you used a gaming headset with its own RF transmission technology. These systems are designed to bypass the constraints of Bluetooth.
