Hey guys, I have an i7 2600k and decided to overclock it. After doing some research and trying various settings, I managed to get stable performance.
I want a safe overclock that lasts a long time, so I read about not exceeding 1.35V.
Specs: i7 2600k with Phanteks TC14 PE air cooler and an ASUS P8P67 Pro motherboard.
In the BIOS, I set my ASUS motherboard and adjusted AI Tweaker to 45 x 100.
LLC is set to high (50%), offset is -0.020V.
So far, OCCT has run without crashing. I tried lowering the offset but it caused crashes at -0.025. So -0.020 seems stable so far.
Temperatures are normal around 60°C during overclock and CPU core hits 1.336 max, which is between 1.31 and 1.336 during the stress test.
What do you think about this overclock? Should I make any changes?
Some people advise against using offset because it reduces idle voltage too much. The PC seems fine so far, but could I try lowering the voltage further? Or what should I do in this case?
Should I go with manual voltage adjustment or change the LLC settings? Is this a good setup?

Hey guys! I got my first BSOD today while gaming by accident, probably because of the OCR since I don’t play much.
My current configuration is 4.4 GHz, i7 2600K, ASUS motherboard, LLC at 50% setting (ASUS motherboard) with an offset of -0.030V.
If I change the offset to -0.025V, will that fix my BSOD during gaming? Or could it help?
I read somewhere or maybe I’m mistaken, but isn’t the offset actually the voltage at idle? If so, then changing it from -0.030 to -0.025 should make my OCR more stable/perfect, right?
What method are you employing to assess stability? My 2700k at 4.8ghz fails each time I open p85. However, playing incandescent games all day and night should work fine.
