They also struggle with clocking FSB, but Giga EP45 boards work well for boosting FSB on quad systems.

Now it makes sense I upgraded my XPS 420 and 430 to Q9650, Q8200, and Q6600 models. The Q9650 supports DDR3, the Q8200 handles DDR2, and the Q6600 is housed in a clam shell. I was looking for info on a YT device, and after testing, it works smoothly as a regular PC—perfect for trying Linux in 2025.
