S and Z keys only work in special situations. They don't work when pressed normally, but they always work if you press the Shift key or another key while pressing them. If I hold down S and then press the next letter in a word, it works fine. Typing both letters with S first does not work with Z. The problem is happening sometimes and started about a week ago. I noticed this while playing Scrap Mechanic, but it comes and goes during gameplay and works for no reason at all. I have never downloaded or installed anything new recently. Things I tried: restoring the window to an earlier time, uninstalling keyboard drivers, removing the key to see if it's damaged or covered in dirt. System Model: ROG Strix G634JZ_G634JZ Processor: 13th Gen Intel® Core™ i9-13980HX, 2200 Mhz, 24 Core(s), 32 Logical Processor(s) OS: Microsoft Windows 11 Pro Installed Physical Memory (RAM) 32.0 GB GPU: NVIDIA GeForce 4080 laptop gpu

Welcome to the forums! Maybe check if your laptop needs a BIOS update. After that, try reinstalling your operating system by making a new bootable USB installer for Windows 11 using the Media Creation Tools. If you've installed all the necessary drivers and the problem still happens, reach out to Asus or your seller to start an RMA; it could just be a broken keyboard.

The new BIOS isn't working, so I did a full factory reset and tried to update all the programs that don't work anymore. Even though it is still covered by warranty, I need to start an RMA. Thanks for your suggestions!
