Q-code 44 and q-code 15 are engaged in a looping sequence.
Hello, I just assembled my first custom PC and am facing some issues getting it online. After updating to beta BIOS 1602, the post worked but the Windows install failed. The system crashes during installation unless it reaches version 15 or 36, then it stops at 44 permanently. The CMOS is cleared and the GPU/VRAM function normally on my other machine. I’ve tested the GPU and memory in another rig, and everything seems fine there. The same behavior occurs with and without the NVMe drive, after which I’ve re-seated the CPU and inspected the pins.
My specs include: AMD 5800X RTX 3070 (also problematic with GTX 1070), two 16GB 3200MHz DDR4 modules, C16 Corsair Vengeance Pro white, and a 2x8 Corsair Vengeance Standard 2166 MHz. I’m using Asus ROG Strix B550-E running BIOS 1401, Samsung 500GB 970 EVO Plus NVMe with Corsair HX750 PSU, and Corsair H115i Elite case.
Anyone have experienced this problem?
You're facing the same problem again. I exchanged the motherboard and purchased another one with identical issues. The specs match up closely: ASUS ROG Crosshair VIII DARK HERO, ASUS ROG Strix X570-E (BIOS 3604, 4021, 4203), G.Skill 8GB*2, DDR4, 3600MHz, F4-3600C16D-16GTZR, HyperX, Gigabyte GeForce RTX 3060 Ti Gaming OC, and EVGA 1060 6GB. Both are reporting the same error from both devices. You've also updated your RMA with a new CPU and motherboard.
