Push Pull Fan for Corsair H115i
Push Pull Fan for Corsair H115i
Hello everyone.
Right now I have two Asiahorse 120mm fans at the front of my case, paired with a deepcool gammax air cooler on my CPU.
I recently purchased a Corsair H115i to install once my delidded chip returns from SiliconLottery.
My plan is to set up a pushpull configuration for the radiator after installing the newly delidded and binned chip.
Instead of purchasing four new 140mm fans for mounting on the radiator (with RGB lighting), would you think I’ll end up damaging anything if I keep using the 120mm (AsiaHorse LED) fans as intake fans, then add Corsair LL140 140mm RGB fans to draw air from the radiator?
I’m aware this could put extra strain on the lower output fans, but how significant is that concern?
I’m considering whether it’s better to stick with the current setup or switch to matching fans later.
The main reason behind this decision is that buying four LL140 fans would be quite expensive.
Or should I opt for four matching fans, or perhaps go with the ML120 and purchase four of those instead?
Please share your thoughts.
regardless of how you handle the fans, it won't affect the cooler's performance. you can't install a 140/280 radiator with 120 fans, so consider moving the cooler to a better spot or use a set of 140 fans that fit your needs.

anything you do with the fans won't affect the cooler's performance. you can't install a 140/280 radiator with 120 fans, so consider another spot for the cooler or choose a set of 140 fans that fit your needs. I'm confident it works with my case. I don't need to attach the 120mm fans directly to the radiator. They're mounted on a bracket, and then the radiator goes onto that bracket on the opposite side. The 140mm fans are placed right on the radiator.
