Hello forum, I'm working on setting up my first PC and am considering Windows 8. G2A seems like a good option since it's very affordable. But I'm wondering if I can rely on G2A? I understand it's genuine, but will the keys remain valid and last a long time? Also, I noticed a price gap between Windows 8 and Windows 8.1. If I already have Windows 8, why would upgrading to 8.1 cost more? Should I buy a Windows 8 key from G2A? Thanks, Kaare92

I don't feel confident about it, purchasing from g2a might involve some risk.

Windows 8 appears affordable since it's considered old, though it functions. Retailers might phase them out in favor of 8.1 discs. I wouldn't purchase from G2A either.

Great response, thanks! I'm starting to reconsider. Do you have any suggestions for purchasing a key at a reasonable cost? I'm currently considering a genuine option priced around $100, but I'd appreciate finding a more affordable alternative.
