Check your current RAM and see if adding two more sticks will fit. If not, consider purchasing a new RAM kit.

With two additional slots, it’s easy to secure another pair. Look for the identical kit. You may need to drop down to around 3200 if your BMI isn’t sufficient.

If you're looking for even more, simply include additional sticks with the same speed and GB. If you're limited by space or upgrading, consider a new build—unlikely you need one now, especially if you plan a full refresh in a few years. Otherwise, focus on your current specs; otherwise, just add more of the same RAM.

I possess the area where they mention acquiring a fresh unit upon installing RAM.

Usually, repeating the same kit works well. The issue arises with two distinct kits having varying RAM speeds, which can cause complications.

Various versions of the same RAM part could include different components and delays, yet generally the same design remains reliable.

This situation leads to a variety of differing opinions. High-speed options often struggle at low speeds, while slower models may face complications. People generally agree that the same RAM can work, though it's hard to guarantee it won't cause issues when adding new components. Some RAM units might be faulty or require BIOS changes to function properly.

Your IMC might struggle with four sticks operating at high speeds compared to two. This isn't typical for most Intel CPUs or Ryzen 3000/5000 models. The Ryzen 1000 and 2000 would likely face similar challenges when running two sticks versus four at the same frequency.
