Hey everyone, Battlefield 4 is priced at $4.99 on GameStop and I was planning to purchase it, but I noticed their software isn't great. Can I use the key I received from GameStop on Origin? Also, I wanted to note that buying it on Origin would cost $14.99, which feels like an extra $10—why not just buy it there? Also, if this is in the wrong forum section, sorry, just thought it might be helpful. EDIT: It looks like the GameStop client still exists, though it's not required.

Never used gamestop before but I theres a software for it? I thought you buy a code, then enter the code on GS to get another code for you to redeem on Origin. That's how it worked for Ubisoft I think.

I've only ever used Gamestop for PC downloads once. It looked like an Origin or Steam client, which I found through some research—it seems it might still be available.

Launching would mean activating the GS Client followed by the Origin. If that’s the case, what’s going on?

After further research, it appears the item is still available, though you might not have to pay anything. It costs just five dollars.

Honestly, if you hate the launcher with a passion, just get it on Origin. If you don't give a shit and it doesn't bother you, its totally worth the 5 bucks.

I don't come from the US, but I learned it was taken down some time ago. You might want to search online or reach out to Gamestop for more details.

I would, though after researching online I found it costs only five dollars, it’s worth my effort (and ten dollars) to try it out.

Updated version 2: I just purchased it, and as expected, they provided an origin key while mentioning you could download the GS launcher if needed.
