It wouldn’t come as a surprise if the installers they target are already using cracked software. Since the license they supply offers no real value, it highlights a bigger issue.

You can obtain OEM installation media from your supplier, as you're legally entitled to it. They typically send CDs with laptops until around 2005 when they transitioned to image files with web URLs printed on them. You might also find Windows customization tools through EU court cases that allowed Microsoft to remove IE. I believe this was referred to as something like WAIK, though I’m not sure if it’s still available.

All I can mention is that they seem to offer activation keys instead of real licenses. Many users report no issues, though some say their computers were suddenly disabled. I wouldn’t pay for just a key—can’t comment on piracy, but if you’re not getting a proper license, what are you giving away your money for?
