Hello, recently purchased some used drives from eBay at a low price. I was excited about the deal but now face a problem—only five are working properly. The rest appear in the OS but don’t show any size, and I can’t create partitions or set up initialization. I’m using Ubuntu and have tried various troubleshooting steps from Google, but nothing seems to help. Anyone know what could be causing this issue? Or if I need more details, feel free to share.

Used hard drives come with risks. Selling them new wouldn’t guarantee success, but returning them might work.
