Purchase Windows 7
so I am working on a computer for someone and I need to reinstall windows (the amount of viruses, malware, and bloatware is unbelievable). which of these links is the safest to buy windows 7 from? the computer already has windows 7 on it but the person never made a system image and no longer has the restore disk (why does nobody save these... I mean come on) https://www.amazon.ca/Microsoft-Windows-...B00H09BB16 https://softwareempire.com/product/windo...p1-64-bit/ I know that the amazon one should be legit but not sure about the software empire link... any help is appreciated!
Likely the Amazon reference is the one fulfilled by Amazon. OR check the link at https://www.amazon.ca/Windows-Profession...004Q0T0LU/ Read the customer reviews there.
You're trying an ASUS program on your laptop using the AI recovery burner. It's telling you it's generating a recovery disk to restore everything to its original settings, which should help.
If it still works, look for the old key using tools like LicenseCrawler and reinstall with that same key. You don’t need to purchase a new license.
No worries here http://188.138.9.242/Windows 7/Eng. I verified some hashes and they align with the old Technet .iso files, giving me confidence they’re legitimate. Others have mentioned MS support will confirm the IP belongs to their servers, but I didn’t check that myself. The matching hashes were sufficient for me. You’ll need a valid key to unlock them, so this isn’t a piracy or warranty link and doesn’t breach the terms of service.
Thank you, I'll keep this in mind for later. It worked to get the recovery burner back after a reboot.
