I spent six months in college with a 100 down account, but after moving back for summer my house has 3up/3down and stays under 40-50 ping. When I begin a match it keeps searching indefinitely, while my friends with 2mbps upload/download can play pubg without issues. What's going on? I mainly play siege and 3/3 is more than enough.

Check your router settings. It might differ between networks. Confirm compatibility with your current connection.

Bandwidth isn't the main concern for online gaming. Latency, peering, and data transfer speed matter more. Make sure your network is set up correctly—avoid double NAT and check for any firewalls that might block connections.

With a double NAT setup, you must completely overhaul your network design to guarantee a single router connects your client devices to the internet.

The single router handles all connections, but a Wi-Fi extender functions as an additional access point.
