I acquired some new components for my PC, but I wasn't sure if an upgrade to the power supply was necessary since I don't intend to overclock right now.

the RTX 4070 Ti typically requires a 750w power supply, which is the minimum suggested.
that corsair device is quite durable.
you should be okay.
