I need to swap out the PSU in my computer since the current one is Cooler Master RS-500-PSAP-J3. The details of my system are as follows: motherboard Asus P8H61-MX, processor Intel® Core ™ i7-3770 CPU @ 3.40GHz, 3401 Mhz, 4 Cores, Nvidia GeForce GT 630, and 8.00 GB of RAM. Any suggestions on a suitable replacement would be very helpful.

It isn't an exceptional power supply, but it should work well for your older, less demanding setup. What makes you think about replacing it?

It has begun producing loud sounds, which they said indicates it requires replacement.
