Good day,
I'm seeking help regarding PSU replacement.
I had an ISO PSU (part number: ISO-400) that reached the end of its life. I bought a new one (FSP500-60ACAHBC).
Before swapping it out, I took photos for reference while connecting all the connectors. After confirming everything was correctly placed in the slots, I tried to power on the PC, but it didn't work.
Once I reinstalled the old PSU, the computer started up again.
I've spent some time online trying to figure out what's wrong.
I'm not sure if I'm missing something. The new PSU indicates 230VAC (proper AC). The PC is connected to an UPS. Does this affect the issue?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Yes, it's a prebuilt unit. I've checked the new PSU in a PC case with just a motherboard connected; the green light stayed steady, suggesting the PSU is functioning properly. Our country uses 230 V power. I'll attempt it again tomorrow to see the outcome.
What is the production brand and model of this prebuilt? It seems it may not be compatible with typical ATX power supplies.

Clarification: The paper clip test referenced is only useful for confirming a failed psu, and it doesn't indicate the psu's normal operation.
From what I could determine, it appears to be an Asus H81M- motherboard.
Some pre builts such as HP or Dell come with unique power supplies and cases. I need to know the exact make and model of your device.
I discovered something today.
It wasn't needed to swap the PSU. I plan to test the new one using a paper clip, and I'll check the results on YouTube.
The PC model is an HP dx1000.
