Hey everyone, I’m trying to stay simple but this is really frustrating. Since 2016 everything’s been working smoothly until I swapped my GTX1080 for a Gigabyte vision 3080TI. I used the same PSU, and it held up for a while. Then last night it just shut down completely—no power at all. I tried using a spare 650W Corsair PSU, but the audio came out super quiet and distorted. I’ve cleaned up the system to the point where nothing works except the CPU, GPU, and PCIe cards. If I replace the PSU, will it fix this? It’s weird because the issue only happens with that specific unit.

Currently it's 3:30am and I just installed a new PSU—exactly the Corsair RM1000e. The same problem is happening again! That means I have two units to return to Amazon right now. What's going on? Is it related to the ATX 3.0 spec? I was confident it would work, but swapping in a spare 650W PSU fixes everything at all volumes and outputs. It's strange. The audio through the rear jack is also heavily distorted with this one. Can someone help me figure this out?
