Hey, I'm considering upgrading to a new Radeon 6600 with a 5+2 6-pin connector. My old PSU is failing, so I'm thinking about this one. Does it fit my needs? Also, do you have a 6-pin adapter available for ordering GPUs?

I'm asking about the 5+2 6 pin connector you mentioned. It seems you're referring to a specific model for your discrete GPU. The power requirements are clear, but I need more details about the exact card you're considering. You might want to share the full specifications or the exact part number for a precise answer.

Are you referring to a 6+2 pin connector instead?

This unit comes with two cables and four 6+2 PCIe connectors, which is more than enough for any graphics card compatible with this type of cable or connector. It also supports the new 12VHPWR standard for the latest NVIDIA graphics cards. (Note that this model is limited to 450W via a single connector, whereas newer versions can handle up to 600W. This limitation might affect running high-power GPUs like the RTX 4090/5090 in the future, but it’s a reasonable compromise given its age and design.) Overall, it’s a solid choice, though not my top recommendation when buying a new power supply. When considering a 850W or 1kW power supply, it really depends on your location, available options, and budget.
