Hi, when I power down the first build PC the PSU fan remains active (or restarts if 0db is enabled). If I turn off the PSU it stops too, and also when I enable ERP in BIOS. All fans are PWM driven and connected via a 5V 3-pin hub to the PSU. Removing the 3-pin hub from the motherboard D_LED2 header allows proper shutdown and prevents the PSU fan from spinning. It seems the only connection point is d_led1, but I’m sure that would work too. I have sys fan 4 free, which is a 4-pin model. Without needing to enable ERP or switch the PSU every time, how can I ensure the PSU fan stops after shutdown? I’m selling this PC to a family member and want it assembled correctly.

Hello there! Could you share a link to the PWM hub you're using? Also, please send some images showing how the PWM hub is connected to the PSU and motherboard.

Hi, currently I'm not using a pc but also not using a pwm hub. All fans have 3-pin connections linked to a 3-pin fan hub, which is connected to the psu via sata and the motherboard's d_led2 using a 3-pin setup. The 4-pin pwm fans are connected to the motherboard through splitters for each of the three fans. Thanks
3 pin hub link included

Fixed it. I tested a new branded 10 port 5v 3 pin fan hub (Thermalright), but it didn’t help. Then I tried the 3 pin cable that came with the hub, and now the PSU fan doesn’t spin after shutdown. So the issue was a faulty 3 pin cable from the unbranded 10 port hub. Thanks for replying Lutfij
