Hello,
Last month I swapped out my power supply because the previous one had been acting up for about six months. Here’s what happened: while playing demanding games, I encountered a blue screen and unusual fan noises at startup. After installing the new supply, things ran smoothly for a month—until now.
When I turned on the computer again, the same strange sound appeared. It looked like the fan was making contact with something inside, possibly affecting performance. I cleaned the power supply from the case using a hair dryer, but didn’t fully disassemble it because of safety concerns.
I also recorded the sounds for your reference. The recordings show an unstable fan operation, matching the problem I faced before. I’m not sure if the issue is with the socket, but I’ve already changed both the socket and the power cord without resolving the matter.

Apologies for any mistakes; English isn’t my first language, and this was written from my phone.

Last month I replaced my power supply since the previous one had been damaged for around six months.
+
PSU: NZXT C750 Bronze
If this is your latest PSU, what was the model of your earlier one?
You may wish to detach the PSU from your setup and position the fan upward while attempting to power the system.
I’m not sure if the issue stems from the socket, but I’ve already swapped the socket and changed the power cable—still no resolution.
If the problem continues after moving to another outlet, bring the system to a friend’s place to check. If it remains unresolved...
After installing a new power supply, everything functioned properly for a month—until now.
Then consider consulting a certified electrician to examine your wiring.
As noted in the recording, the fan exhibited unstable performance. This mirrors the problem I faced with my old PSU.
It could be the fan itself or the internal components of the PSU... suggesting you should request a return of the unit. Was this product bought new or used?

I purchased it in perfect condition, along with the previous model which was also new. I didn't remember the brand, but it came with the casing. Today marks the second day of fan activity, so I'll follow your advice and check to see if the issue continues.

I attempted what you suggested, but the issue kept happening. Fortunately, my father is no longer connected to electricity, and he also has a UPS, a current saver power supply. We tried connecting it, but the problem persisted. He mentioned that the oil in the power supply needs changing, though it was only been a month since it arrived at the unit, and the warranty is still valid. I think I’ll send it to the warranty without taking it apart. What are your thoughts?
