Is the LC Power LCM1000M ATX V3.0 PSU suitable for a Z790 motherboard and a 14900KF CPU? I want to be certain, as these components aren't inexpensive.

Understanding the poor reputation of LC Power PSUs (low quality and performance) makes me hesitant to rely on expensive computer components from that brand. The fact that the PSU only offers a 3-year warranty is sufficient reason to avoid it. I recommend choosing one of the top 30 options listed here.

I'm on a tight budget. Is Corsair Rm850e worth it and can it support 14900KF and an RTX 4070?

thx. budget is really tight, sorry. i'm an invalid and only my wife works. 😢
scraped money for a year to buy parts, now i'm stuck and psu is out of the picture. finished my build. got a zotac rtx 4070 from a friend. he won 4090 in a sweepstakes. it's really hard to find good components. took me some time to locate a case that fits a 360 mm aio cooling.

I discovered the Antec GSK850 EC ATX 3.1 at a comparable cost to Corsair, though Corsair offers 24 months while Antec provides 72 months of warranty.

If you tolerate the bothersome fan sound, then it's fine. The product includes a 7-year warranty.

Rme is a solid choice. It's worth considering compared to the other alternatives. If you can afford an i9 and 4070, you'll also be investing in a reliable power supply, avoiding costly repairs later.

I didn’t buy everything at once. I received them in stages. First the CPU, then memory blocks, followed by the AIO, after that a case, and finally the PSU. Then I built it myself. Some friends helped me with parts and money, so I negotiated for some expensive items. I got an MBO for 200 euros, the CPU was under 600 euros, the AIO Arctic Liquid Freezer III 3600mm cost 109 euros, and the 32 GB DDR5 storage was 114 euros. I saved a bit, my wife helped keep costs down, and we also got support from friends and former military teammates. This PC is part of my therapy—it helps me avoid strong medications for my PTSD.
