The PS5 seems to trigger the CO detector intermittently during your visits. Could there be a connection between the game and the alarm?

Except it's on fire, it doesn't apply.

I wouldn't expect that I'd miss it until now. Normally I'd mention a low CO detector battery, but this only appears when I use my PS5. Could it be related to the heat produced? Since the room is small and sealed, and the detector is inside, maybe the warmth from the console affects it. The PS5 sits in a wooden cabinet with a glass opening, and its back opens toward a small oval hole about two feet tall. The cabinet stands around three feet high with a shelf in the middle, and the console lies on its side on the top shelf. It's a bit surprising it hasn't been an oven yet!

Are you certain it's a CO detector and not CO2? That would make sense for everything.

It wasn't clear from your message what you're asking about. Could you clarify your question? You mentioned a PS5 and something related to CO, but more details would help.

You're not the PS5, it's your body that releases CO2.

Even while I'm using my laptop (Dell Inspiron 15 3520), it doesn't turn off unless the PS5 is active.

Your breathing increases during gaming. Are you certain you're playing on a PS5, or is this another activity?
