I haven't configured my system yet, so here are some suggestions. Is it memory-intensive? Does it run smoothly on a lighter configuration?

I previously ran Rainmeter on an older desktop. It didn’t seem to consume a lot of memory. With a 16GB RAM setup, I never experienced significant issues.

I knew someone who relied on a rainmeter, drained their RAM, and frequently grumbled about sluggish performance.

It didn’t bother me too much and I have roughly 8 gigabytes.

I've played Dark Souls, Skyrim, and basic games. The bigger, flashier ones tend to hog RAM but also cause a lot of hassle—you need to re-link and rename the files you don’t want.

Not relying on Rainmeter, BlackBox is an option. Might need a fresh image; the one I previously used for /g/ Desktop threads worked before.
