Hello everyone, here’s the start of what I’m compiling—my goal is to gather a thorough list of what functions well and what doesn’t with Proton, based on my own tests and contributions from others. Keep in mind there’s no assurance that what works for one person will work for you. I have three gaming PCs with varying specs, which has led to inconsistent results across different titles.

Please note: if you encounter issues, make sure your drivers are current. See the bottom of this post for instructions.

Official support from the Steam Proton Team includes:
- Beat Saber
- Bejeweled 2 Deluxe
- Doki Doki Literature Club!
- DOOM II: Hell on Earth
- DOOM VFR Fallout Shelter
- FATE Final Fantasy VI
- Geometry Dash
- Google Earth VR
- Into The Breach
- Magic: The Gathering - Duels of the Planeswalkers (2012)
- Mount & Blade: Mount & Blade with Fire & Sword
- NieR: Automata
- PAYDAY: The Heist
- QUAKE
- STALKER: Shadow of Chernobyl
- Star Wars: Battlefront 2
- Tekken 7
- The Last Remnant
- Tropico 4
- Ultimate Doom
- Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War®
- Warhammer 40,000: Dark Crusade
- Warhammer® 40,000: Soulstorm

Other titles:
- Beat Saber (version 2)
- Doki Doki Literature Club!
- DOOM (various versions)
- Fallout 4
- Magic: The Gathering - Duels of the Planeswalkers
- Mount & Blade: With Fire & Sword
- NieR: Automata
- PAYDAY: The Heist
- Star Wars: Battlefront 2
- Tekken 7
- The Last Remnant
- Ultimate Doom
- Warhammer® 40,000
- Star Wars: Battlefront 2
- Star Wars: Skywalker Legacy (Tekken 7)
- Gish
- High Stick Fight: the Game
- The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild
- Path of Exile
- Gears of War: Black Mesa Eclipse
- Final Fantasy XIV: Advent Children
- The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt
- Star Wars: Jedi: Fallen Order

Performance notes:
- I7-4790k / GTX 980Ti
- Vsync & Gsync enabled when possible
- Average frame rates range from 60–70 FPS
- Some games are stable, others cause crashes or audio glitches
- Certain titles are unplayable or severely laggy
- Audio often missing or distorted
- Texture issues in specific expansions (e.g., DLCs)
- Some features like mouse movement sensitivity are problematic

I’m working on organizing this information into a clearer format and will continue updating it. If you have feedback, suggestions, or findings that differ from what I’ve noted, please share them. This way we can refine the results together.

Thank you, and stay tuned!

They added stalker, Battlefront 2, and Dark Crusade. That’s everything I wanted! Switching to Linux gaming is a no!

Brawhalla - Works Banished - No audio for Onmyoji - Unable to launch, attempting to download additional titles, possibly Slay the Spire next. Tested on Manjaro Deepin.
