Pros: Extremely strong airflow of 87CFM, operates quietly, attractive design, sleeved cable, and can be adjusted voltage
Cons: Missing sleeving on both sides of the fan and the Molex adapter
First of all, I want to express my gratitude to Prolimatech for providing these fans.
Inside the box you’ll find the product along with detailed specifications on the back.
The Blue Vortex 14 seems to be one of the finest fans I’ve ever used. It operates almost silently, delivers impressive air volume, and has a stylish appearance.
With its 87CFM capacity, it should handle even the most demanding systems. The fan can be adjusted to lower voltage, resulting in complete silence.
A thoughtful feature from Prolimatech is the well-designed sleeved power cable. Many fans today lack this, which can cause tangled wires and a messy setup. The sleeving reaches the motor housing without exposing the wires, though it doesn’t go all the way inside. It would have been ideal to cover the motor connections more thoroughly. This isn’t a major issue, but future models should improve on this.
A minor improvement I’d have appreciated was sleeving on the Molex adapter, but the wires remain exposed.
Overall, the Prolimatech Blue Vortex 14 is an excellent 140mm fan for just $10. It’s a must-have for any computer builder. This fan definitely justifies its price, and I rate it 9.5 out of 10.

I purchased four of these fans for my Corsair 550D and they are great! They are very quiet. I also bought the LED ones—identical but with a transparent blue design and clear LEDs. The sapphire blue color is amazing, it looks like running blue water. Get them!

I'm an elitist, so I can't afford to have one odd fan. Please send me 23 of the 120mm version if you could.
I also don't like the adaptors—they look mediocre and too many would damage your Cm.
Maybe it would have been better to see some comparisons with other popular fans, like the roundup Ryan did a while back.

Motopsychojdn :
I tend to be a bit of an elitist and can't tolerate one odd fan, so I'm hoping you can send me 23 of the 120mm version if possible.
I also don't like the adaptors much—they look average and too many would damage your Cm.
It might have been nice to see some comparisons with other popular fans, such as the roundup Ryan did a while ago.
