Hi! Your setup seems mostly functional, but you're experiencing issues with the 60Hz signal. The cable path through walls might be affecting the quality. Have you tried using a different HDMI cable or a different port on your projector? Also, check if the repeater is properly powered and connected. If you're still having trouble, it could be related to the repeater's settings or compatibility with your GPU.

Attempted an active repeater, but it didn’t work at 60Hz. 30Hz functions properly no matter the resolution—1080p or 4K—but anything higher than 30Hz is completely out of range.

Another update: I’m starting to think the last 5m cable going into the projector might be the issue. I’ve tried various setups but couldn’t get a stable 60Hz signal. I’ve assembled a rough cable solution now—7.5m → passive repeater → 1m cable → 3m extension—and it’s delivering a 4K 60Hz feed. I’m planning to keep adding extensions to see how far I can push before the signal drops, then revert and test the 5m cable against that setup. An alternative is buying an optical HDMI cable, though I hope repeaters and extensions can bridge the gap. For anyone planning a projector connection beyond about 7 meters: go for an optical cable right away—this will save you trouble.

HDMI cables are often susceptible to damage, especially with different models.
