Hello, I'm from India and my ISP is BSNL. I'm new to networking, using a DSL connection with unlimited plans of 24Mbps download and 2 Mbps upload speeds. My modem router is a D-Link 2730U ADSL2+ N150 model. I mainly access the internet via Wi-Fi on my smartphone and laptop. For the first couple of months everything worked well. But after a while, if I turn on the router and connect to the internet, it functions perfectly for a short time. However, after using it for 10 to 15 minutes or keeping it idle but still connected, the speed drops and eventually stops. The only fix is restarting both the modem and router. Is this issue with the modem router or with BSNL? Please share your thoughts. If the problem lies with the equipment, I'm willing to switch to a new one. Otherwise, I plan to file a complaint against the ISP. Thanks in advance. Best regards, Thadougamer
It seems like you're questioning whether the problem lies with your internet service provider. Do you use 2.4 GHz or 5 GHz for your connection?
