Linus mentioned in his Intel video that using an XMP profile would cancel your warranty, and he implied this applies to AMD as well.

AMD XMP profiles don't cancel your warranty under normal circumstances. The maximum speed is usually around 3200 MHz, and anything higher isn't considered a defect requiring service.
