Maximum RPM under load depends on the specific CPU model and its thermal design parameters.

RPM refers to the engine speed, and a 1800rpm setting usually indicates standard operating temperatures.

I’d verify the quality of your thermal paste. Some products on Amazon aren’t genuine. Avoid purchasing from individual sellers; opt for shipments from Amazon or well-known retailers. The counterfeit paste led to overheating issues.

BIOS indicates the CPU fans are spinning at 2000 RPM at full speed. This isn't unusual. You mentioned the issue started after using the original cooler thermal paste, but switching to CoolerMaster didn't significantly improve things.

They offer two types of stock coolers: one with a high-speed fan at 3000rpm and another at a lower speed. You can adjust the voltage manually to cut power use or opt for a higher-quality cooler.

I think I wasn't too worried. Maybe getting a new cooler will help lower the temperatures. Appreciate the explanation!

It's strange the CPU runs at just 3% while consuming 53 watts.

That's what I considered. It looks like it's increasing performance or overclocking. Perhaps a BIOS update would help.
