I recently switched the case of my PC and observed that the CPU tends to get quite warm most of the time. When idle, it reaches around 70°C, but turning it on raises the temperature to about 100°C. Simple tasks make it hotter than expected. After replacing the thermal component, the change wasn’t significant. Need assistance.

The cooler might not be connected to the CPU, so removing it could help. Reapplying thermal paste and reinstalling it may work. Also, is the heat coming from the cooler itself?
