I recently purchased a Ballistix Sport LT 8gb and noticed its frequency changed from 2400mhz to 3000mhz after adjusting the BIOS settings. However, CPUZ still caps it at 1600mhz. How can I revert it back to 3000mhz? Even in Task Manager, it displays 1600mhz. It’s a single channel device.

CPUZ displays the actual clock frequency. Because DDR refers to Double Data Rate, multiplying 1600 by 2 gives 3200 MHz. It's unclear why this would be the case if it's set to 3000 MHz.
