Occasionally when I power on my PC, the CPU tends to lock at 54MHz. It remains stuck there until I restart the machine, which usually resolves the issue. This doesn’t occur every time I boot up, but it can happen a few times a week. I’ve checked online forums for similar experiences, but most users reported unusual warnings in their Ryzen Master interface. From my perspective, my setup seems fine (though I’m not entirely sure). I’m not very experienced with PC hardware, so any advice would be welcome!

I understand you're referring to a one-day availability. Would you like me to elaborate on that?

On my machine it appears quite different, but I'm using an older version of Windows. My mistake...

Consider testing the game; it might be underreporting its speed. The CPU is probably operating significantly faster than 0.54 ghz.

Have you adjusted the OC settings in Ryzen Master or BIOS? Did you configure the XMP profile (or AMD equivalent) in your BIOS? This would enable your RAM to operate at 3600 MHz instead of the default 2133 MHz.

System seems sluggish and unresponsive; check for inaccurate clock speed readings. If the issue exists, voltage could be too low. Avoid overclocking unless you increase voltage, otherwise it's safer not to do so.

You're asking about the meaning of "stuck" in the context of the CPU utilization picture. It means the processor is running at a low level, around 2%, which is typical for power-saving modes.

I've attempted to run games under these conditions and they become extremely sluggish with noticeable stuttering. The task manager still shows a stable 54 MHz, which suggests it's accurately reporting the performance. I haven't adjusted the overclocking settings recently, so it might not be related to that. I also haven't configured any XMP profiles, but it seems like setting one would help. Should I look up instructions on how to do that? I've only explored the BIOS settings a little because I'm not very familiar with them. I can usually sense when something is wrong—the whole system feels sluggish and responds very slowly, even during demanding tasks like playing games.

Honestly, before diving into set XMP and whatever drivers you have for your motherboard, it’s a good idea to update your BIOS and any related drivers to the latest stable releases. Once that’s done, you can configure XMP, and you’ll typically locate the profile there—often under the overclocking section. Details may vary by manufacturer, though AMD uses a different name sometimes, but the concept remains the same.
