I'm considering going RAM now because the games have been running well for a while, then suddenly freezing and then stabilizing again. I also have my motherboard flat against wood, which isn't perfect but I didn’t have room to lift it with the GPU. The PCs in my desk—half of the one Linus built using the wobbly legs—are fine; don’t worry, my legs aren’t that bad haha.

Excessive heat in the RAM can lead to serious problems, like unusual audio distortions and performance drops. My previous RAM overheated, resulting in strange pops and stuttering sounds—it was really problematic.

I was using RL kbm with Bluetooth instead of my Xbox controller, and everything worked smoothly this evening. I also tried a wired setup, which functioned perfectly. For other games, I don’t rely on a controller at all. MSI afterburner isn’t accurately reflecting GPU performance across different tools—AIDA64, 3Dmark, and Task Manager all show the same max boost clock and RAM speed at 0mv, even though temperatures are correct.
