Hello everyone! I'm looking for advice on which CPU works well with a 3060 Ti. Right now, the i9-11900K, Ryzen 5900X and 5950X are hard to find without discounts. That makes me think about the Ryzen 5 5600X, Ryzen 7 5800X and i7-11700K. I mainly need them for gaming and streaming, and I don’t want to compromise on performance or risk a bottleneck.

A 5600x works well without causing any issues. Going up to 11400 should also be fine, and 11700k seems like a solid choice too.

The piece "bottleneck" fits the idea that it doesn’t always convey what you expect. This mindset works for most PC users. When comparing a 5600X and a 3060 Ti, the graphics card is clearly more capable, but performance drops only when pushing extreme limits—like mixing a Ryzen 3 3100 with a 3080 or pairing a 3060 Ti with an older CPU. My approach is to choose the GPU you need and the CPU you can manage affordably. Used CPUs tend to lose value quickly compared to GPUs, especially as newer mid-range options appear.

5600x/b550 and 11400/b560 are quite alike, the 5600x offers a slight edge while being pricier.
