Someone has figured it out. The process was tricky but functional. It’s performing adequately for your needs.

It functions smoothly. Check the Linus tutorials—Unraid Virt-manager provides a GUI, Virsh offers a command-line interface, and OVIRT supports clustering. It’s a virtual machine, so inserting a USB isn’t straightforward, though you can route one. What system are you using?

I focused more on using Windows inside VirtualBox. My setup includes a 4790k graphics card from an Asus Z97a and 16GB of RAM. I plan to run Linux on the integrated GPU while streaming my furious X into the Windows VM.

Not quite right. Try Wine or CrossOver Linux – it really helps. It also includes DX10 support; DX11 is still in development. Edit: We shared the post at the same time. Using Fury X through QEMU works fairly well.

I've experimented with wine before. It can be fine for certain things but disastrous for others. I'm looking for something more natural.

Avoid using VirtualBox on Linux. KVM runs faster, integrates better with the system, and offers more advanced capabilities.

I wasn't familiar with KVM, but I think I'll use it if it reduces overhead.

The device in the video features a Skylake CPU, though it might be useful to know this detail. The accompanying write-up can be found at the provided forum link.

I've attempted several methods but haven't succeeded. Wendell's walkthrough from TekSyndicate and a forum user who provided help were tried. I've used openSUSE and even installed Manjaro, thinking the differences between systems might be an issue. Despite these efforts, nothing has worked so far. (My CPU is a Skylake, which Wendell highlights as a strength.)

I'm getting ready for the weekend challenge. I'm building a test setup now. If it works, I'll move on to the main system.
