You're experiencing performance issues with your PC despite having a decent spec setup. It's possible that over time, components degrade or become less efficient. Since you have 4GB RAM, opening even a small tab should utilize a significant portion of it. Check if your RAM is still functioning properly and consider testing with more RAM if needed. Also, ensure your CPU and other components are healthy. If the problem persists, a professional diagnostic might be helpful. Let me know if you need further guidance!

It seems the available memory is extremely limited. The device is likely working hard to retrieve information from RAM quickly, otherwise it would be much slower. If you need such performance, consider optimizing or replacing the system.

Upgrading with an SSD if needed and adding extra RAM would improve performance. I observed the Windows idle RAM usage increased from 2.8GB to 3.5GB, and your installation seems quite tidy.

Current 4 GB isn't enough anymore. My device uses 7 GB of memory even when idle on a desktop.

4GB of RAM is just enough to start Windows (apps not included). 8GB feels almost too little, 16GB works for most users but starts to slow down when multitasking or running heavy programs. This is the laptop I store in my garage for music and shopping needs. It currently runs about 15 Chrome tabs, Tidal, a calculator, a few Arduino IDE windows, Word, and Microsoft Teams. I haven’t even opened a CAD program yet and I’m at 11.5GB used. The truth is, this setup would likely do better on a Linux distribution because they’re built for low-end hardware like Raspberry Pi devices.
