Hey there, I noticed you're facing a problem with the Desktop Windows Manager consuming your GPU. Have you checked if any recent updates or changes might be contributing? Also, reinstalling Windows didn't fix it—what else could be causing this issue?

Yes, the desktop runs on a GPU and can utilize it occasionally. Are the temperatures excessive?

It's affecting my FPS in the game a lot. I usually see around 30-50 FPS with an RTX on GTA V and R6, and sometimes it can reach up to 80%.

Determining the issue can be challenging. It might stem from a driver problem or an external third-party application. Use Autoruns to inspect running or starting programs and services. Also, review relevant Windows game settings such as game mode configurations.

Attempt to revert updates, prioritizing GPU drivers. If this doesn’t resolve the issue, it may stem from a Windows-related problem (perhaps a recent update).
