The outcomes show consistent performance at around 50°C when idle, and up to about 65°C during operation. You don’t need to keep all LEDs off for safety if there’s no stability problem, you can still activate them without risking damage.

A lot of the reason I find RGB unnecessary—especially for small, passively cooled, temperature-sensitive parts like RAM or SSDs—is because it often leads to lower idle temperatures or worse airflow. This is common in many silent-optimized builds, where airflow gets sacrificed for performance gains. "Tag: concern"
