I tested the system in the case and it ran smoothly without any crashes. Disabled XMP and re-bar settings helped maintain performance. GTA5 handled 1440 max settings well, with GPU load staying around 99-100%. Hogwarts reduced GPU load to 40% in certain areas, though CPU load and temperature rose slightly. It seems the issue isn’t related to the GPU. Both CPU and GPU temperatures stayed stable, hovering near 70°C, with a hotspot around 70°C. Inside the case, temps reached about 76°C overall. It might be a RAM problem. Keeping XMP off appears to improve stability for now.

OCCT appears to function without issues. I also have an extra USB drive available.

Will will attempt it. So far, it seems the problem could be unrelated to a specific hardware component. It might just be a compatibility or BIOS issue causing the crashes. Could be Windows 11.

Freezes might stem from a software problem or a hardware issue. Have your PC been struggling consistently or only recently?

It had issues from the beginning such as GPU usage drops in Hogwarts and screen freezing during CS2, yet no crashes occurred. Recently after playing GTA it crashed once. Performance appears to have declined significantly, operating much slower than before. Now everything must run at full capacity, including RAM, which clearly impacts speed. While older games and titles like Forza Horizon function properly, FPS has dropped because my RAM is set to default instead of XMP.

This situation is challenging because the issues might stem from various causes, especially since the whole PC had problems from the beginning. If you have a USB connection, memtest86 can help identify if the problem lies with RAM. You could also test another stick to see if the issue is with that specific RAM, then swap it out to observe if the symptoms change.

I ran the memory test overnight and everything checked out. I observed that my motherboard had a BIOS version not shown on the official MSI support site, with a build date older than the most recent update. Since I purchased this board, I thought it might be outdated, but it’s unusual. Should I revert to the last update from the online support page or stick with this one? I’m worried about damaging the board, especially because of power issues in my area.

Consider alternative options before updating the BIOS if you're worried about power outages.
