I need to convert hundreds of .heic images into .jpg files while keeping the quality intact. There’s currently no built-in option on Android or Windows to open these files directly. I’m looking for a quick and efficient method—maybe a paid service or tool that handles the conversion smoothly.

You can leverage ImageMagick and a batch script for large-scale conversions.

XNconvert is available for free and works across different platforms. You can adjust the size, transform, rename, remove metadata, etc. Simply upload all your files and select your preferences. It will also let you specify the file format and quality you want.

Sure, the rendering intent settings helped maintain consistent colors across Perceptual and Relative Colormetric profiles. For your Oppo camera photos with HDR or 10-bit color, sticking to those settings should work well. Unless you notice specific issues, it’s safe to keep them as is.

Windows processes HEIC well with HEVC extensions from the MS Store. IrfanView supports conversion and batch processing. Simple Gallery on Android can also handle it.
