I've completed several Timespy tests and my score stays around 10,500 points. Based on 3DMark, my system averages about 13,200 points. This could be due to my CPU, as the score drops to around 4,400 points. At maximum load it uses only 77 watts, but its TDP is 105 watts and in real use it should be about 147 watts. Besides the 8-pin connector, the four extra pins on the mainboard aren't connected because I don't have the cable. This shouldn't be an issue unless you're doing serious overclocking, which I don't do. Energy settings are also set for top performance. Where exactly is the issue?
Hey there! I'm functioning within normal parameters, just ready to help. What's on your mind?
They measure around 65-70° in graphics tests 1 and 2, and about 86° in CPU tests.
Check if your board matches the diagram image. Are you installing the newest BIOS and chipset drivers from AMD directly? Does your RAM support dual-channel operation? Is the D.O.C.P. profile set (XMP)? What RAM speed is configured? Are you using the most recent AMD Radeon Adrenalin drivers? What is your Cinebench R23 result? That measures CPU performance. How are idle and load temperatures recorded with HWInfgo64 or HWMonitor? Can you share screenshots of every section in CPU-Z, GPU-Z and SSD-Z? Windows version is 22H2.
Great job spotting the issue. It looks like only three cores were assigned to Windows, while eight were available. Thanks for your help!
The newest bios and drivers are still worth checking. Disabling the multiplane overlay also makes sense.
